Indra Sistemas, S.A. (Spanish pronunciation: [ˈindɾa sisˈtemas]) is a Spanish information technology and defense systems company founded in 1992.^{[citation needed]} Indra is listed on the Bolsa de Madrid and is a constituent of the IBEX 35 index.^{[citation needed]}

In 2018 and 2019 Indra has been fined for participating in a 14-year cartel rigging the contracts for Spanish railway infrastructure and leading a 15-year cartel rigging the offers of IT services to several public administrations in Spain.

Business areas

Indra is organized around three business areas: information technologies, simulation & automatic test equipment, and defense electronic equipment.^{[citation needed]} Indra's portfolio ranges from consultancy, project development, and systems and applications integration to outsourcing of IT systems and business processes, structured into two primary segments: solutions and services (including outsourcing and application maintenance), and business processes where technology is a strategic and differentiating element (BPO).^{[citation needed]} This includes:
