Graf is not a tile

Graf is not a title. It is just part of the last name of a person as titles of nobilities were abolished in Germany in 1919. 85.179.38.171 (talk) 08:45, 7 August 2011 (UTC)

This is true of modern people called "Graf", but certainly not of historical people who held the title of Graf. Wikipedia doesn't only talk about the present. Hairy Dude (talk) 22:40, 25 September 2016 (UTC)

Second: I often seen, that this templated is used in articles of Austrian persons — that's wrong, because in Austria since Adelsaufhebungsgesetz (de:Adelsaufhebungsgesetz) of 3 April 1919 nobility itself and also all nobility titles/attributes abolished. Different than in Germany noble titles in Austria were not part of the name. Elisabeth59 (talk) 05:28, 12 February 2020 (UTC)
